Erskine opened Twirl for the children who don't like hair-cutting day. He works with clippers and shears, keeps the booster seat warm and lets every child hold the tools before they're switched on.
Stylist, textured hair and braids
Armani does the cuts, puffs, twists and braids that have to last through a school week. She talks to a child about every step before she starts.
Stylist, first cuts and fine hair
Maia takes the first cuts and the baby trims, and the children who need a slower start. She speaks English and Spanish.
